The Supervisor of Transportation Services will be responsible for coordinating the Transportation Services for RUSM. Oversees the day-to-day operations of all transportation maintenance, records keeping and auditing. Ensures training completed and policies followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily management of RUSM vehicles;
Responsible for hiring, supervising, promotion, engagement, and disciplinary actions related to staff in the transportation dept. in accordance with RUSM rules and policies
Maintain and manage a schedule of all transportation requests on behalf of RUSM;
Maintain a schedule for regular maintenance/servicing of all RUSM vehicles and ensure that the schedule is adhered to;
Inspect and document any vehicular accident/incident relating to any of the RUSM vehicles; Preparing damage and other monthly statistical, and other reports for all RUSM vehicles;
Coordinate request from other departments for transportation needs.
Assist in the maintenance and management of transportation contracts, and to ensure that all contract drivers are adhering to the terms and conditions of their individual contracts;
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget for the transportation department.
Assist in the development and preparation of operating procedures and policies for the Transportation department;
Develops, reviews, and implements standard operating procedures for the transportation department, with emphasis on policy for issuing of vehicles, and accident reporting.
Conducts routine audits of the issuing and receiving of fleet vehicle to ensure completion in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Completes other duties as assigned.
