  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The Supervisor of Transportation Services will be responsible for coordinating the Transportation Services for RUSM. Oversees the day-to-day operations of all transportation maintenance, records keeping and auditing. Ensures training completed and policies followed.



    • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the daily management of RUSM vehicles;

    • Responsible for hiring, supervising, promotion, engagement, and disciplinary actions related to staff in the transportation dept. in accordance with RUSM rules and policies

    • Maintain and manage a schedule of all transportation requests on behalf of RUSM;

    • Maintain a schedule for regular maintenance/servicing of all RUSM vehicles and ensure that the schedule is adhered to;

    • Inspect and document any vehicular accident/incident relating to any of the RUSM vehicles; Preparing damage and other monthly statistical, and other reports for all RUSM vehicles;

    • Coordinate request from other departments for transportation needs.

    • Assist in the maintenance and management of transportation contracts, and to ensure that all contract drivers are adhering to the terms and conditions of their individual contracts;

    • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget for the transportation department.

    • Assist in the development and preparation of operating procedures and policies for the Transportation department;

    • Develops, reviews, and implements standard operating procedures for the transportation department, with emphasis on policy for issuing of vehicles, and accident reporting.

    • Conducts routine audits of the issuing and receiving of fleet vehicle to ensure completion in accordance with standard operating procedures.

    • Completes other duties as assigned.


    • Associate’s degree or 2 year college diploma

    • 3 years in a supervisory role
    • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Available to work on weekends and public holidays, as needed
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles would be an asset.
