    Controls Inventory and Asset and Inventory Management System and perform the following duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Plans and direct inventory control for the RUSM campus
    • Assists with handling surplus and storage areas of inventory section
    • Perform business analysis for identifying items that are kept in inventory versus procurement for just-in-time inventory.
    • Coordinate the delivery of goods and supplies to RUSM campus community.
    • Maintain communication with requester on open internal orders.
    • Maintain proper records of campus asset and inventory.
    • Conduct physical inventory counts and organize of inventory; Driving, Collection of various items from local vendors and the ports.
    • Assist with the unloading and packing of supplies at various storage locations as deemed necessary.
    • Performs field inventory by physically locating, identifying and counting assets. Enters manual counts and uploads bar code data from inventory results into the fixed asset management system.
    • Adds controlled and capitalized assets to the fixed asset database.
    • Affixes inventory tags to designated assets and equipment. Replaces damaged asset tags.
    • Performs disposal transactions to remove assets from service.
    • Builds exception file and prints report. Locates missing inventory, performs location transfers and reconciles exceptions.
    • Perform any other duties commensurate with the position which may be assigned from time to time.

    Required Credentials and Education:

    • Secondary School education with minimum 4 CXC or equivalent certification including Mathematics and English
    • Up to one year experience in Customs Brokerage and warehouse operations.

     

    Computer Skills:

    • Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database and Internet software.
