    The Sr. End Point Technician is responsible for basic installation and troubleshooting of personal computer hardware and software within a LAN/WAN environment.  Activities include daily administration, set-up, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and disaster recovery.

     

    The selected candidate will assist in creating trouble tickets and resolving hardware, software and service related issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing technical support for Students, Staff and Faculty ,
    • Provide Tier II Support for Apple Technology in Classrooms, Anatomy Labs, Clinical Labs, Computer Labs and Study Rooms.
    • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS tvOS, and N-Computing
    • Configure, update, test, install, troubleshoot and support software applications
    • Install and troubleshoot computer peripherals and other hardware
    • Provide desk-side, remote and telephone support for IT related issues
    • Document processes and procedures for daily operations
    • Assess risk related to implementations, upgrades and changes
    • Identify, communicate and escalate service impacting issues in a timely manner to customers, technicians and manager
    • Coordinate and prioritize workload to meet timelines and expectations
    • Scripting silent installations
    • Print Server Management • Mapping printers and drives
    • AV troubleshooting and support
    • Supporting Apple devices in an Active Directory environment
    • Resolving Keychain and password issues in an enterprise environment
    • Imaging, updating and patching Apple devices using JAMF MDM

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training;

    • Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP)
    • Apple Volume Purchase Pricing
    • Apple School Manager
    • Apple GSX
    • Microsoft Office for Mac and iOS
    • Microsoft Office 365

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • iOS Qualification
    • MacBook Service Qualification
    • iMac Service Qualification
    • MacBook Air Service Qualification
    • Desktop Support Technician experience
    • Customer Service Representative experience
    • ITIL Certifications
